新数据表明,α-单脂肪酸甘油酯是一种很有前途的替代断奶仔猪氧化锌的工具。

New data show that α-monoglycerides are a promising tool to replace zinc oxide in weaned piglets. 

 

比利时一个农场,一种特殊的α-单脂肪酸甘油酯组合在次优环境下对氧化锌进行了测试。已知大肠杆菌会导致断奶仔猪出现问题。

A special combination of α-monoglycerides was tested against zinc oxide under suboptimal circumstances on a Belgian farm were E. Coli is known to cause problems in weaned piglets. 

 

结果表明,α-单脂肪酸甘油酯可以替代每吨饲料中2公斤氧化锌,对生产性能和腹泻评分无任何负面影响。氧化锌的替代品很重要,因为它对环境有负面影响。

The results showed that α-monoglycerides were able to replace 2 kg zinc oxide per ton feed without any negative effect on performance and diarrhoea score. Alternatives to zinc oxide are important because of its negative impact on the environment.

Zinc oxide in high doses to prevent diarrhoea in weaned piglets is currently point of discussion due to environmental issues.Moreover, recently there are concerns about the potential increase of bacterial antibiotic resistance due to the use of high zinc levels.

However, zinc oxide seems to be the most effective solution to overcome diarrhoea in weaned piglets. Hence, the pig industry needs alternative solutions when medicinal zinc is no longer allowed, which will soon be reality.

FRAmelco开发了一个安全替代氧化锌的概念。这个概念是基于α-单脂肪酸甘油酯的特殊组合

FRAmelco developed a concept to replace zinc oxide in a safe way. This concept is based on a special combination of α-monoglycerides. 

 

不同种类的α-单脂肪酸甘油酯因其对革兰氏阴性细菌(如大肠杆菌和沙门氏菌)或革兰氏阳性细菌(如链球菌)的抗菌作用而闻名。结合不同的α-单脂肪酸甘油酯将产生广谱效应。

The different kinds of α-monoglycerides are known for their antibacterial effect either against gram-negative bacteria, like E. Coli and Salmonella or gram-positive bacteria, like Streptococcus. Combining the different α-monoglycerides will result in a broad spectrum effect.

氧化锌的替代品

这一新概念在比利时针对实际和次优条件下的高剂量氧化锌(每吨饲料2千克氧化锌)进行了测试。

The new concept was tested against a high dose level of zinc oxide (2 kg ZnO per ton feed) under practical and suboptimal conditions in Belgium.

 

仔猪3周断奶,断奶后2周随访。与氧化锌组的仔猪相比,接受α-单脂肪酸甘油酯组合的仔猪表现相当甚至更好

Piglets were weaned at 3 weeks and followed during 2 weeks after weaning. Pigletsreceiving the combination of α-monoglycerides performed comparable or even better compared to piglets in the zinc oxide group. 

 

两组患者都患有腹泻,但α-单脂肪酸甘油酯组症状较轻,导致药物使用率较低。α-单脂肪酸甘油酯组的生长和饲料摄入量略高于氧化锌组。

Both groups suffered from diarrhoea, but the α-monoglycerides group less severe, which resulted in a lower use of medicines.Growth and feed intake were slightly higher in the α-monoglycerides group compared to the zinc oxide group.

 

从这些结果可以得出结论,α-单脂肪酸甘油酯可以在有大肠杆菌问题的农场替代药用锌,而不会对断奶仔猪的生产性能产生任何负面影响。

From these results it can be concluded that α-monoglycerides could replace medicinal zinc on farms with E. Coli problems, without any negative effect on performance of weaned piglets. 

 

此外,与氧化锌相比,α-单脂肪酸甘油酯对环境没有任何负面影响

Moreover, in contrast to zinc oxide, α-monoglycerides do not have any negative impact on the environment.
